Claudette Williams

Claudette Williams is running for the State House in the 176th District, representing Monroe County.

Claudette was a Sergeant-Major in the United States Army for 30 years, President of the Mt. Pocono Borough Council, and a Commissioner of Pocono Mountain Regional Police. If elected, she would advocate for a severance tax for natural gas drilling, increased protections for clean air and water, the creation of a Clean Energy Transition Task Force, and support for green energy jobs. Claudette knows that we need to preserve and protect Pennsylvania’s natural resources for outdoor recreation and the economic benefits they bring to the 176th distinct and the state. Her opponent scored a 0% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard, voting against the environment every opportunity he had.

We encourage voters to elect Claudette Williams, a strong voice for the environment, to the State House in District 176.
