Joe Torsella

Joe Torsella is running statewide for re-election as Pennsylvania’s Treasurer. Previously, he served as the Director of the National Constitution Center, a Deputy Mayor for Philadelphia, and an Ambassador to the United Nations.

Joe has always prioritized environmental issues and canvassed for the League of Conservation Voters in high school. He has been outspoken on the importance of the United States upholding its commitment to the Paris Climate Accords, and has spoken out against the Trump Administration’s extremist, anti-environmental policies. As state Treasurer, Joe has joined institutional investors to support stronger regulations to reduce air pollution as proposed by the Department of Environmental Protection. He also called on supermarkets to discontinue use of pollutants, like legacy refrigerants, and transition to climate-friendly options.

We encourage Pennsylvania voters to re-elect Joe Torsella for state Treasurer and send him back to Harrisburg to keep fighting for clean air, land, and water.
