Lydia Laythe

Lydia Laythe is running for Erie County Council in District 6.

Lydia is trained in trauma treatment and has worked with refugees, immigrants, children, and previously incarcerated men. She is currently serving on Washington Township Council, where she has advocated for increased governmental transparency and accountability, renewable energy development, and municipal recycling.

Lydia wants to incentivize renewable energy alternatives, like solar farm construction and utilize local solar installers to transition to alternative energy sources in all municipal buildings. She also wants to require Community Benefits Agreements on all developments that will cost over $1 million and ban developments that would harmfully impact the environment.

We urge voters to support Lydia Laythe, the pro-environment choice, for election to Erie County Council in District 6.
