Marian Keegan

Marian Keegan is running for the State House in the 139th District, representing parts of Pike and Wayne Counties.

Marian has a masters in forestry management and currently serves on the executive team of the Hemlock Farms Community Association and board of the Grey Towers historic site in her district. Environmental protection is the primary reason Marian decided to run for office - as a forester she has walked tens of thousands of miles across forests throughout America, worked to protect high quality waterways in her region, and advocated against fracking in the Delaware River Basin. If elected, Marian would fight to protect Pennsylvania’s forests and open spaces, ban fracking, and ensure equitable access to clean air and water. She is a longtime Sierra Club volunteer and has dedicated much of her time to supporting environmental advocacy organizations across the state. Her opponent scored a 0% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard, voting against the environment every opportunity he had.

We know how important it is to elect professional environmentalists to office. That’s why we encourage voters in House District 139 to vote for Marian Keegan for State Representative.
