Sen. Tim Kearney

Senator Tim Kearney is running for re-election to the State Senate in the 26th district in Chester and Delaware Counties.

Senator Kearney earned a 100% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard. Previously he served as Mayor of Swarthmore and served on the Board of Borough Planning Commissioners. Sen. Kearney has been practicing environmental sustainability as an architect for over 30 years, utilizing green building and sustainable practices.

Sen. Kearney’s environmental priorities include supporting sustainable energy, strengthening enforcement of environmental protection laws, and using taxes and fees from the energy industry to invest in environmental protection. In the legislature, Sen. Kearney has supported legislation that would allow municipalities to install parking protected bike lanes and pedestrian plazas, as well as a bill that invests in improving Pennsylvania’s housing stock, including weatherization of older homes.

Senator Kearney has been a true environmental champion in the Senate, and we urge the voters in the 26th District to send him back to Harrisburg.
