Rue Landau

Rue Landau is running for the open At-Large seat on Philadelphia City Council.

Rue started her career as an activist and housing organizer working on the frontlines in the fight for economic justice, demanding access to affordable housing in Kensington. She also worked as an attorney at Community Legal Services helping thousands of low-income renters in Philadelphia avoid eviction from their affordable housing.

Rue would seek to establish an Equity Index so that decision makers can focus on the areas of the city that are most impacted by the burden of climate change, and to help study and track the implementation of new policies. Rue is also ready to work to leverage federal and state dollars to confront the climate crisis and speed up our goal of achieving carbon neutrality.

We strongly urge you to vote for Rue Landau for Philadelphia City Council on May 16!
