Dianne Herrin

Dianne Herrin is running for the State House in the 156th District, representing Chester County.

Dianne is the current Mayor of West Chester and a former consultant on energy efficiency. As Mayor of Wester Chester, she has implemented many new environmental policies including a plastic bag ban, the Clean and Green West Chester initiative, and the conversion of the main street to an open-air marketplace. Her environmental platform includes no new pipeline construction, a moratorium on building for the Mariner East II pipeline, and an end to fracking across the state. As a lifelong environmental advocate, she knows how important a "just transition" to clean renewable energy is for Pennsylvania. If elected, Dianne will work to require the subsidization of community solar gardens, and would sponsor legislation to generate funds for clean energy projects in low-income communities.

We encourage voters in State House District 156 to send Dianne Herrin to Harrisburg to fight for clean air, water, and land.
