Montgomery County Commissioner - Jamila Winder

Jamila is running for re-election as a Montgomery County Commissioner. Prior to being appointed as a Commissioner following a resignation, Jamila served as the chair of the East Norriton Board of Supervisors, and also served on the Norristown Area School Board. 

Her top three environmental priorities as Commissioner would be achieving 100% electrification of Montco's motor vehicle fleet, ensuring equitable distribution of resources to address climate change impacts in the most vulnerable communities, and establishing an Environmental Advisory Committee at the County level. These initiatives will play a crucial role in promoting sustainability, social equity, and environmental stewardship for the region.
