Tarah Probst

Representative Tarah Probst is running for re-election to the State House in the 189th District, representing parts of Monroe and Pike Counties.

Rep. Probst served as Stroudsburg’s mayor from 2015 to her election in 2022. She also sat on the board of the Brodhead Watershed Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and improving the environment in the Brodhead and Cherry Creek watersheds.

Rep. Probst is currently fighting to ensure the expansion of Interstate 80 in her district will not negatively impact the local watershed, and she has fought for other environmental protections throughout the region. She has voted in support of critical pieces of legislation that expand renewable energy, protect environmental justice communities, and improve air and water quality.

We are confident that Rep. Probst will continue to use her experience as a leader to fight for the environment in the State House, and we urge voters in the 189th District to send her back to Harrisburg.
