Diane M. Ellis-Marseglia

Diane was first elected to the Board of Commissioners in November 2007 and is serving her third term. Commissioner Ellis-Marseglia is a lifelong resident of Bucks County. Raised in Lower Makefield, she now resides in Middletown Township, where she previously served on both the Neshaminy School Board and the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors.

While on the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors, she helped create an Environmental Advisory Committee to review municipal plans. Diane is the Commissioner currently assigned to the local Emergency Planning Commission, which will be integral in planning for disasters caused by climate change. She is committed to pushing back against increased reliance on fossil fuel infrastructure, creating a plan to help the county transition to 100% renewable energy, advocating for legislative changes that will improve the air quality in the county, and prioritizing putting clean energy candidates on the board of SEPTA. She also opposed the Elcon plant while it was under consideration.

Diane has been a strong advocate for our open space, water, and air quality, and we urge voters in Bucks County to vote November 5 to re-elect her.
