Rep. Ed Gainey

Representative Ed Gainey is running for re-election in the 24th State House district in Allegheny County.

Rep. Gainey was first elected to the State House in 2012 and previously worked as a Community Development Specialist for the City of Pittsburgh. He is currently the Vice Chair of Appropriations and Policy Committees and holds a 98% lifetime score on the Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard.

Rep. Gainey has been a strong supporter of clean air and water initiatives across PIttsburgh and is currently a co-sponsor on a bill that would ensure all school-age children are tested for dangerous levels of toxic lead poisoning.

Rep. Gainey has been a strong advocate for the environment in district 24, and we urge the voters to re-elect him in November.
