Jamie Gauthier is running for a seat on the Philadelphia City Council in District 3.
As former Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Conservancy, Jamie has dedicated much of career to developing and maintaining green spaces across the city. During her time as Executive Director of the Sustainable Business Network, Gauthier oversaw the creation of a strong public policy platform to advance sustainable businesses and created a pilot Solarize program with Solar States that influenced Philadelphia's current citywide program.
Gauthier believes that the biggest environmental crises facing Philadelphia are increased air pollution, rising temperatures, and extreme weather events caused by climate change. As a council member, she would push Philadelphia to advance its plan to lower carbon emissions, achieve 100 percent clean, renewable energy by 2035, and transition to a fossil fuel-free transportation system.
Gauthier is a leader who has prioritized our environment, and we need to elect her to City Council to move Philadelphia forward. We strongly urge you to vote for Jamie Gauthier for Philadelphia City Council in District 3 in the primary on May 21!
