Everything You Need to Know to Vote in Pennsylvania in 2026

Pennsylvania voters have several options for voting in the November 3, 2026 election. You can vote by mail, vote early in person, or vote at your polling place on Election Day.

If you aren't registered to vote, October 19 is the deadline to register or update your registration before the election. Not sure whether you're registered? Check your voter registration.

How to Vote by Mail in Pennsylvania

Voting by mail is an option for Pennsylvania voters who want to cast their ballot before Election Day.

The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 27. We recommend requesting your ballot as soon as possible so you have plenty of time to complete and return it.

Your completed ballot must be received by your county election office by 8 p.m. on November 3, but you should return your mail-in ballot as soon as you can. You can find a ballot drop box or return it to your county election office, and you can track your mail ballot after you return it.

How to Vote Early in Person in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania voters can also vote early in person at designated locations in their county.

You can request a mail-in ballot and complete it in person at a designated county location through October 27, subject to your county's hours and availability. Find early voting locations in your county.

How to Vote on Election Day

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open on election day from 7 A.M. - 8 P.M.

If you want to vote in person on Election Day, find your polling place before you go.

Why Your Vote Matters in Pennsylvania

At the same time, anti-environmental politicians in control of the Pennsylvania Senate are blocking meaningful progress and putting corporations ahead of us at every turn.

This is our chance to vote them out – and we have never been this close! All it will take is flipping three State Senate races and expanding our razor-thin majority in the State House.

With your vote, we can put environmental champions in charge of the state legislature who will pass laws to regulate AI data centers, lower our utility bills, invest in low-cost clean energy, and protect our air and water.

Your vote is your power. Please use it. Make a plan to vote this November 3.
