Vito Malacari

Vito Malacari is running for State House in the 119th District, representing Luzerne County.

Vito Malacari graduated Summa Cum Laude from King’s College, where he earned a degree in history and minored in secondary education. He works as a high school history teacher and is a 4-year recipient of the Gold Level Government Civic Engagement Award for successfully registering over 85% of eligible high school seniors to vote. He also serves as the Northwest Area School District’s Union President and as a District Labor Delegate for the NEPA Health Trust.

Vito Malacari will fight to protect Pennsylvanian’s right to clean air and water. Part of Vito’s platform is to upgrade existing water lines and to prioritize the removal of lead pipes. If elected, Vito will support legislation that would require Pennsylvania to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050. He will also support investments in clean energy and in improving communities through funding programs for greener buildings, cleaner schools, and open spaces.

We are confident Vito Malacari will be a fierce advocate for the environment and Pennsylvania communities, and we urge voters in the 119th District to send him to Harrisburg this November.
