Laurie Smith

Laurie Smith is running for the State House in the 18th District, representing Bucks County.

Laurie has served for the past 14 years as a teacher in the Bensalem Township School District. As an educator, Laurie sees the impact that the legislature’s actions have on her community through her students and their families. As a State Representative, Laurie will work to create and support policies that focus on helping families and their community.

Laurie knows that Pennsylvania is already experiencing the effects of climate change through extreme weather events. Laurie’s platform includes lowering carbon emissions and moving Pennsylvania to 100% renewable energy by 2050 in order to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

We believe Laurie Smith will be a fierce advocate for her community in the State House, and we urge the voters of the 18th District to send her to Harrisburg in November.
