Rep. Dan Frankel

State Representative Dan Frankel is running for re-election in the 23rd district in Allegheny County.

Rep. Frankel was first elected to the state House in 1998 and earned a 100% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard. The 23rd district has some of Pennsylvania’s worst air pollution from toxic industrial facilities, and Rep. Frankel has been a strong advocate in the fight for cleaner air and a healthier Pittsburgh. Also, as Democratic chair of the House Health Committee, Rep. Frankel wrote a letter to the Department of Environmental Protection urging it to remove any loopholes from the methane rule, which was being proposed to reduce pollution leaks from oil and gas sites.

Rep. Frankel has stood up for a cleaner environment in the 23rd district and we urge voters to re-elect him in November.
