Rep. Dan Miller

Representative Dan Miller is running for re-election to the state House in the 42nd district in Allegheny County.

Rep. Miller was first elected in 2012 and is an Army National Guard veteran, former public defender, and local community volunteer. He is a member of the Climate Caucus and earned a 92% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard.

Rep. Miller’s top environmental priority is expanding and funding local public transportation to help get cars off the road and relieve the poor air quality in his district. He has also held events in his district to advocate for expanded renewable energy and to educate his constituents about how to access key energy resources. Rep. Miller is also working to protect Pennsylvanians’ drinking water and introduced legislation that would require natural gas companies to disclose the chemicals that they use in the fracking process, which often spill into nearby water supplies.

We are confident that Rep. Dan Miller will continue to fight for our right to clean air, clean water, and renewable energy if re-elected, and we encourage the voters of the 42nd district to vote to send him back to Harrisburg.
