Izzy Smith-Wade-El

Izzy Smith-Wade-El is running for State House in the 49th District, representing parts of Lancaster County.

Izzy Smith-Wade-El works with the Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition to secure housing for Lancaster’s most vulnerable people. Izzy also serves on the City Council, where he has worked with communities to secure investments in safe and affordable housing and to change the city police’s use of force policy. If elected, Izzy will take his work with communities and organizers to Harrisburg to fight for the issues that matter to Lancaster, including affordable housing, quality education, and bold climate action.

Izzy will fight to protect Pennsylvanians’ right to a clean environment. Izzy supports a ban on fracking; fighting for good-paying, union jobs as Pennsylvania transitions to renewable energy and develops climate resilient communities; and investing in environmental justice communities to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

We know that Izzy Smith-Wade-El will be a fierce advocate for the environment and Pennsylvania’s communities in the State House. We urge voters in the 49th District to elect Izzy Smith-Wade-El in November.
