SD 6 - Ann Marie Mitchell

Ann Marie Mitchell is running for State Senate in the 6th District, representing part of Bucks County. She is a business attorney and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. 

Ann Marie’s environmental platform includes protecting open space, ensuring all communities have clean air and water, and increasing investments in green infrastructure. If elected, she would prioritize a just transition to a clean energy economy and support the expansion of public transit. Ann Marie recognizes that low-income families and communities of color bear the brunt of polluting industries and would work in the Senate to ensure that all Pennsylvanians are guaranteed their right to clean air and water. In her own backyard, she would fight against the toxic PFAS water contamination that affects so many residents in her district, including her own water supply.
