Jamie Gauthier
Jamie Gauthier is running for re-election to the Philadelphia City Council in District 3.
As former Executive Director of the Fairmount Park Conservancy, Jamie has dedicated much of her career to developing and maintaining green spaces across the city. During her time as Executive Director of the Sustainable Business Network, Gauthier oversaw the creation of a strong public policy platform to advance sustainable businesses and created a pilot Solarize program with Solar States that influenced Philadelphia's current citywide program.
On the City Council, Jamie has fought to transition the city to 100% renewable energy and create good paying, union jobs. She’s sought to invest in public parks and green spaces to reduce greenhouse gasses and provide outdoor spaces for all residents to enjoy. She has also sought to expand public transportation and car sharing, which will take more cars off the streets and reduce vehicle emissions.
Jamie is a leader who has prioritized our environment, both on City Council and in her professional work, and we need to re-elect her to City Council to move Philadelphia forward. We strongly urge you to vote for Jamie Gauthier for Philadelphia City Council in District 3 on May 16!
