Anita Prizio is running for re-election for Allegheny County Council in District 3.
Councilmember Prizio is a lifelong resident of O’Hara Township where she has served on Township Council and the regional council of governments prior to her election to county council.
Councilmember Prizio believes that public transportation is an essential public service and should be accessible and affordable to all. She believes that the Pittsburgh Port Authority should continue to solicit public input on fares and routes to make sure they are serving all communities equally. She supports an end to all fossil fuel subsidies and instead supports incentives to increase renewable energy production. She knows the importance of a just transition for local laborers to ensure they remain in good-paying, union jobs as the economy transitions to clean energy.
We urge voters in District 3 to re-elect Anita Prizio to Allegheny County Council.
