Danielle Friel Otten

Danielle Friel Otten is running in the 155th district in Chester County.

Danielle is a native Pennsylvanian and has lived in Chester County for two decades. As the co-founder of the Uwchlan Safety Coalition and Del-Chesco United for Pipeline Safety, Danielle knows firsthand how to be leader and achieve real change. Over the last few years, she’s organized a massive grassroots campaign to oppose the Mariner East 2 pipeline and to hold the company accountable for its repeated violations. Not only that, she helped organize hundreds of her fellow citizens to elect new leaders in Uwchlan who will stand up against the pipeline.

Danielle believes that government must hold big polluters accountable and fully fund the Department of Environmental Protection so that it can do its job keeping our water clean, improving the quality of the air we breathe and the quality of soil where our food is grown. She also wants to ensure Pennsylvania becomes a leader in a new clean energy economy to reduce emissions and create good-paying jobs for workers at all skill and education levels.

Danielle handily won her primary and is now facing a sitting state representative who scored a dismal 18% on the Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard. Danielle will be a true environmental champion when elected, and we encourage you to vote for her in November.
