Maria Collett

Maria Collett is running for State Senate in the 12th district serving parts of Montgomery and Bucks counties.

A resident of Lower Gwynedd, Maria has been a lifelong advocate for those in need, first as an attorney fighting for the needs of children victimized by abuse and neglect, before transitioning to a career in nursing.

When elected, Maria would defend Pennsylvanians' constitutional right to clean air, pure water, and open spaces. She is deeply concerned about the well and drinking water contamination at the Willow Grove and Warminster Naval Air Stations and Horsham Air Guard Station, and would make it a top priority to ensure these problems are addressed through swift and thorough remediation, public health intervention, financial support, and prevention. Maria also believes Pennsylvania must reduce our state’s contribution to climate change and would support moving to 100% clean, renewable energy.

Maria is running for an open seat. We know that she will prioritize the environment if elected to Harrisburg, and we strongly urge voters in the 12th district to vote for Maria Collett for real environmental progress.
