Rep. Leanne Krueger-Braneky

State Representative Leanne Krueger-Braneky is running for re-election in the 161st district in Delaware County.

Rep. Krueger-Braneky is a resident of Swarthmore and has been working hard to make the Philadelphia area one of the most sustainable regions in the country. Prior to running for office, Rep. Krueger-Braneky was the Executive Director of the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia and worked to further economic development with the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies.

Rep. Krueger-Braneky serves on the Committee for Environmental Resources and Energy and has been a true environmental champion in the State House. This session, she co-sponsored legislation that would establish a phone line for natural gas pipeline emergencies, as well as a resolution urging Pennsylvania to join the Climate Alliance. She has been the recipient of the “40 under 40” award from the Pennsylvania Environmental Council and the Green Power Award from PennFuture. She has earned a score of 100% on our 2017-2018 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard.

Rep. Krueger-Braneky is a stalwart champion for clean air, land, and water in the State House, and she’s in a tough race in November. We urge the residents of the 161st to re-elect her.
