Rep. Mike Sturla

Representative Mike Sturla is running for re-election in the 96th district in Lancaster County.

For the past 28 years, Rep. Sturla has diligently served the citizens of the 96th district.  He previously served on Lancaster City Council and he currently volunteers in the community and serves on various boards, including the Shreiner-Concord Cemetery, Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board and the Stevens College Community Advisory Council.

As the Democratic Policy Committee Chairman, Rep. Sturla is instrumental in crafting the caucus' policy agenda. He has introduced legislation on environmental issues like Clean Streams, fair Marcellus Shale severance tax, and the Clean and Green program, which is designed to preserve agricultural and forest land. Rep. Sturla earned a 100% on our 2017/2018 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard.

We encourage the voters of the 96th district to vote to send Rep. Sturla back to Harrisburg to continue standing up for clean air, water, and land.
