Sen. Larry Farnese

Senator Larry Farnese is running for re-election to the State Senate in Philadelphia’s 1st District.

Throughout his time in office, Senator Farnese has advocated for a cleaner Delaware River, fought for a more sustainable solution for the PES refinery in South Philadelphia, and has been a consistent champion against environmental deregulation. He was one of very few Pennsylvania Senators with the courage to stand up to the gas industry and oppose House Bill 1100, which would give tens of millions of dollars in tax breaks to petrochemical facilities that are known to cause cancer and other health impacts. He had a perfect environmental voting record in the last session of the legislature and holds a lifetime environmental score of 91%.

We encourage voters in the 1st District to send Sen. Farnese back to Harrisburg to continue advocating for Philadelphians.
