Kathleen Madonna-Emmerling - Allegheny County Council (District 1)

Kathleen Madonna-Emmerling is running for County Council in Allegheny County’s 1st District.

Katheleen currently works for the University of Pittsburgh and has an extensive background in non-profit work. If elected to County Council, she will advocate for stricter enforcement of air quality regulations and higher penalties for companies that repeatedly violate pollution limits. Kathleen will advocate that local communities disproportionately impacted by pollution have a stronger voice in decision-making at the county level and increase overall transparency to provide more opportunities for the public to help hold polluters accountable.

We know Kathleen will be a strong advocate for the environment and democracy on County Council. We strongly urge voters to support her on November 4th.
