February is Black History Month. This year, Conservation Voters of PA is observing Black History Month by requiring our staff members to participate in internal learnings on racial justice and attend events organized by organizations led by and serving communities of color.

Check back here for upcoming events we plan on attending in 2024. We invite our members and supporters to recognize Black History Month as well by attending an event held by an organization led by and serving communities of color, whether it's an event below or another one in your community. Our organization is making this month a priority because Black communities and other communities of color historically have been marginalized by redlining and other racist tactics that have led to Black Americans being more likely than whites to be impacted by pollution, and Black, brown, and low-income communities have been hit first and worse by the impacts of climate change.
